Jewelry Make-Over

What was alluring once, can look quite outdated in modern times. Have you inherited grandma's jewelry, love the idea, but not the style? Why not have her jewelry redesigned into something you will actually wear.

Contact Liz Burnett for great ideas of how best to give your jewelry a make-over.

Product Sourcing

Are you looking for a specific size, colour, clarity, or cut diamond? Perhaps you would like a special colour, or type of gemstone? What about an unusual, or unique custom made ring designed for that special person in your life?

Contact Liz Burnett to help you find the right diamond, gemstone, and jewelry design of your dreams.

What is a Jewelry Appraisal?

“Appraising a piece of jewellery essentially means determining its value at that point in time. A professional appraiser must first be able to identify the item correctly, and then evaluate its quality accordingly. They must also be able to convey their findings in a written report, justify their process, and abide by a professional code of ethics.

Very often, the role of a gemologist is confused with that of an appraiser, as gems have become synonymous with high value. However, a gemologist is an expert in identifying gems, whereas an appraiser assesses their quality and then determines their value based on commercial context and market pressures”. An important point to remember ...

Due to the constant fluctuations in currency exchange rates, gold and platinum values, diamond and gemstones prices, jewelry appraisals should be renewed at least every 3 years. Is your jewelry appraisal value current?
